While sitting through the high school talent show, Peter becomes enraptured by the violin performance of a student and convinces the guys to form a string quartet. But when they get a wedding gig and find that Peter has neglected to practice, they kick him out. Desperate to get back into the group, he takes up abusive private lessons with Mr. Washee Washee. When they see what Peter has done to get back into their good graces, they invite him back to the group where he puts on the performance of a lifetime, but due to his mental scarring at the hands of Mr. Washee Washee, he swears off the violin as he smashes it, and then convinces the guys to run amuck at the wedding.

Meanwhile, after Carter urinates on the school stage due to poor vision, Brian gets roped into serving as an aid while he recovers from cataract surgery. Although he resents Carter's elitist lifestyle at first, he soon becomes adjusted to in and starts to crave it when Carter's vision is restored and his services are no longer needed. Rebuffed in his attempts to continue to pal around with Carter, he hatches a plot to damage his sight again with Stewie. They spray Carter with water from Flint Michigan, which not only blinds him, but blisters his skin. Horrified at what he has done, Brian starts to apologize and pledge his aid. Stewie decides to move things along by pulling a lever to move the plot forward, allowing Carter to heal and get things back to normal.
