Stewie finds himself in public disgrace after a popstar unleashes her fan base on him for a benign comment. Meanwhile, Peter gets lap band surgery and enjoys the merriment of excess skin.

When former Jolly Farm Revue star, Mary Elizabeth Becca Ryan, is announced to be releasing her debut single, Stewie gets excited, being an avid fan of hers. Brian is concerned at how he is letting his love for her dictate his life, but reluctantly agrees to attend her concert with him. During the show, Stewie posts a tweet referring to MEBR as his favorite pig, which she construes as an insult, before siccing her fanbase on him for it. The harassment continues to the point of even affecting Stewie's offline life, and when he tries to run away, someone bombs his big wheel, killing Rupert in the process. Brian soon discovers that Stewie, fed up with stan culture and the online mob, vows to kill MEBR at the Quahog Walk of Fame, although it turns out he only wants to talk things out. He explains how wrong her tactics were, and while the speech falls on deaf ears among her fanbase, Stewie finds solace in the fact that Brian fixed Rupert for him.

Meanwhile, Peter agrees to play catch with Chris in the backyard, but gets exhausted just walking to the door, much to the concern of Lois. After refusing to lose weight the traditional way, he is recommended lap band surgery by Dr. Hartman; Peter agrees, although he winds up with a ton of excess skin. Due to his drastic weight loss, he decides to spend more time away from his family and enjoy his new lease on life. However, this upsets Lois, who hoped that losing weight could help him more easily be there for Chris. Peter ultimately shows up at the science fair and acts as the kite for his son's project, only to be zapped by lightning, which reverts him back to his usual obese, easily-fatigued self.
