Meanwhile, Cleveland steps away to the restroom while the guys leave the Clam, leaving him with the bill. Jerome offers a beer on him and they bond over more drinks. They start spending more time together to the dismay of the guys. They visit Cleveland to remind him how much fun it is to hang out with them, but their attempts break down within the group and they never get to Cleveland. Joe suggests that the reason Cleveland prefers to hang out with Jerome is that they are both black. They arrive at his home dressed as their interpretation of black guys from films and Cleveland tells them that the reason they hang out is that he hasn't stuck them with the bar bill. When Cleveland tells Jerome of the guy's theory after a meal out, he admits that it has some basis in truth because his stories are not interesting, causing Cleveland to rethink his friendships. Back with the guys, they play video games as Peter and Cleveland have a tough match with each other.
