Family Guy Episode 13
When Peter is attempting to bond with Chris over a game of Donkey Kong, the latter claims he could make it more fun by reenacting the game, building its levels onto the front of the house. The guys attempt to do just that, but one of their "barrels" hits Lois and breaks her foot, forcing Peter to look after the kids by himself for a week. The first morning, Peter's attempts at doing so yield mixed results, but in the midst of his struggling, he is mistaken for a single parent and earns the sympathy of everyone around him. From there, he decides to pretend that Lois is dead so he can enjoy the perks, quickly becoming a local celebrity and drawing the attention and adoration of mothers throughout Quahog. While at the park, Peter meets a single, widowed mom named Becky, who invites him and Stewie over for a playdate, alongside her son, T.J.
Becky is endeared by Peter's naïvety and childish tendencies, and offers to make such playdates a regular thing, to which he agrees. Eventually, she starts coming onto him, claiming he reminds her of her late husband, Scott, but Peter grows concerned when she kisses him. After seeking his friends' advice, Peter decides to break things off via text before Lois can find out, but Becky invites herself over for dinner. Hurrying between the dining room and master suite throughout the evening, Peter has to make sure the two women don't meet up, but after a series of hijinks, the ruse fails. Lois is hurt that Peter faked her death, and Becky is hurt that Peter lied to her, to which he confesses that he was just trying to make raising his kids alone an easier job. Peter proclaims that all mothers are heroes and that he is lucky to have one for his kids, while Lois suggests that Becky find someone else, as she can do a lot better than Peter.
